This 1930 build Historical Spanish house has been in this family for over 80 years. It is currently in the hands of one of the grandsons and his new bride. His parents helped put this project together for them. We kept the remodel as true to the Spanish era as possible while bringing in some well-needed modern updates. We opened up the kitchen, removing a wall and making it larger. We took what was, according to grandpa, an enclosed upstairs patio and turned it into a master bathroom. All of the tile is hand painted custom ordered. All of the cabinets are custom designed by me and built by B&J Custom Cabinets. We installed all new Jeldwen Windows, solid wood with metal exterior clad, keeping with the original grid pattern. All new plumbing and electrical was added throughout the house, we fixed a major structural problem, insulated the entire house, put up new stucco around the entire house, refinished the hardwood floors, and replaced the interior doors. They are truly enjoying this home and hopefully will keep it in the family for another 80 years.
