Monrovia Spanish Revival
I just completed a fun, stressful and incredibly fast rehab to a 1927 Spanish Revival in Monrovia. The project was for an investor through my wife Wendy’s office who will also be listing the sale of the property. We did a complete remodel to this house including a completely new kitchen, updated all 3 bathrooms, refinished the hardwood floors, all new electrical, replaced a few windows, refinished the interior woodwork, built a large heavy timber pergola, new HVAC system, made roof repairs, reconfigured parts of the floor plan and painted it inside and out.
The kitchen included stained solid wood cabinets, quartz counter tops, a custom back splash and travertine floors. The bathrooms got new tile wainscoting, new tile shower in one and tiled tub surround in another, new toilets, new pedestal sinks and all new plumbing fixtures. All of the houses almost 100 year old light fixtures were refurbished and reinstalled. This house is filled with so much history and charm.
We were able to pull of this entire job in less than 60 days.
Thank you to Vicky Hansen and Matt Waken for trusting in me to pull this off.
